Hello, and welcome to my website. I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a doctorate in school and counseling psychology. I have additional pre- and post-doctoral training in pediatric neuropsychology. I specialize in neuropsychological evaluations with children, adolescents and young adults. My evaluations help parents who have watched their children struggle, by providing them with ways to help. I also conduct family and individual psychotherapy. Some of the problems I evaluate and treat are behavioral, mood, developmental and learning disorders, with particular expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

My expertise as a diagnostician allows me to assist physicians, psychiatrists and mental health professionals determine a definitive diagnosis for patients with complex histories. However, I get the most satisfaction when I can help to uncover the roadblocks that prevent success in school. I team with teachers, medical professionals and other specialists to determine the most effective strategies that will lead to success, and I help parents to advocate for their children. 

I have over twenty years of experience in both clinical and school settings. with specialized training in helping parents to obtain services that children and teens need. Because my experience spans both traditional special education and the more current, "Response to Intervention" (RTI) model, I can design flexible interventions for either regular or special education. My reports have practical recommendations that work in both kinds of classrooms.
